Description
Left hand drive DB-4 originally sold in Germany. The engine was replaced at the factory in 1964 with the lastest type sump and oil cooler. The chassis plate show the current engine number. In 1993 the engine was totally rebuilt, the gearbox stripped, inspected and renewed as neccessary. At the same time the car was fitted with Vantage three SU set-up and cold air box and an HBE suspension kit installed. The current owner owner had the car prepared for vintage racing in 2001 with full suspension and brake rebuild with receipts totalling $16,156.00. The car is fitted with Dunlop racing tires, competition belts and a fire bottle. The paint was redone in 1996 along with the front seat leather. This is an outstanding car mechanically with excellent cosmetics. The bumpers have been removed, but are included with the car.
