1977-Porsche-930 Turbo Carrera

This is an outstanding example of the very first Turbo, a car that truely carries the 930 designation. It has all the tell-tale early signs including the Carrera-type tail, Turbo Carrera badging, non-intercooled motor etc. This particular car has covered under 52,000 original miles and is in beautiful shape. The color is very beautiful, with just a hint of copper, gold and green to it. The paint is in almost perfect shape with no blemishes save for mild stone chips to the front. The remainder of the paintwork is unfaded, unmarked, and perfectly smooth to the touch. Even the rims of the fuchs are unmarked and even. The interior is also in fine shape, with only the slightest signs of wear to the bolsters on the driver’s seat. Everything else, from the brown floormats with \”Porsche\” script to the leather covered dashboard is spotless.
It has a number of tasteful options and updates including headlight washers, full leather interior, rear wiper, Hella H1 headlights (in the original sealed beam apertures), aftermarket exhaust system, and Nakamichi receiver. The car also has factory sport seats and period-correct performance upgrades, which include a larger turbocharger. The car has known ownership from new and has received much recent work including rebuilt cylinder heads, new clutch, new shock absorbers, and new Bridgeston Potenza SO-3’s.
Also included are the original manuals and magazine issues in which the car was featured (Excellence, Nov. 2002 and Sportscar International, Sept. 2002).
This is truely a stunning and unmolested example of this very significant car that is ready to enjoy.
