Description

This street legal car received a two and a half year frame-off restoration in the early 1990's and was uprated for both rallies and vintage racing at that time. The motor has been balanced and blueprinted with triple side-draft Webers and custom headers as well. The gearbox is a Borg-Warner T-10 4-speed unit from a later Corvette. Other upgrades include brakes, anti-sway bars, and end links from a 1956-57 Corvette. The brakes are finned drums and have very neat ducting to provide cool air. Koni shocks. Other upgrades include a fuel cell, dual-well master cylinder, dual-switched fans, touring seats, and 5.5\"X15\" Halibrand wheels with Pirelli P4000 tires. It also has accurate modern gauges, though the originals are included as well. The car also includes SCCA logbooks, original owner's manual, various original parts. Signed by Dick Thompson and Zora Duntov. Titled and street legal this ready car is ready for any event and all set for new adventures.
