Description

1970 Ferrari 365 GT 2+2
s/n 11805 GT. Engine no. 11805GT
Amaranto with Black Interior

We are pleased to offer 1968 Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 s/n 11805. This very well documented, low mileage, three owner Queen Mother is a Euro–spec car, built new for Greg Garrison, a wealthy American client and Ferrari collector. From new with US gauges but no side lights or emissions equipment. Build in 1968, so it’s smog exempt almost everywhere.

This beautiful Queen Mother has only 30,258 original miles, was unused and stored in Las Vegas for thirty years, and so is in remarkable good unrestored condition. From new in a very elegant Amaranto 19379 M (Burgundy) over a very straight body and now fitted with a black vinyl interior with dark red carpets. Just completed brakes, a major mechanical service, a cooling system and fuel system overhaul, and new Michelin Hydroedge 215/70/R15 tires. Has the correct period Voxson radio with eight track. Comes with the original tool roll and some tools, the jack and jack bag and an aftermarket owners book and shop manual. Needs a new hood pad, dash top covering and dedicated detail work to be a very nice Queen Mother. It has an strong engine and pulls like a freight train.

The 365 GT 2+2 was built for the sporting enthusiast with friends or children and gives the quintessential 1960s vintage Ferrari experience with the last of the curvaceous Pininfarina–bodied grand tourers, powered by the final iteration of the Colombo V–12 two–cam engine. The interior is roomy for two adults and two children for long distance touring. The 365 GT 2+2 is a smooth yet fast long distance traveler, as this car is equipped with air conditioning, power windows, power door vent windows and variable ratio power steering.
