1980 Ferrari 308 GTBi Red with Boxer trim and Black Leather s/n ZFFAA01A60033189 This three owner, 32,000 mile car is right on the edge of being a show car. It is cosmetically near-perfect, and equipped with several options including the deep, European spoiler and tasteful European side marker lights. Built in 1980 and equipped with the smog friendly injection system, this car does not face the smog dilemmas which the carbureted cars do in California. Much attention has been paid to the small details which make a car stand out. While the car has not been totally repainted, the areas that typically show rock chips and nicks have been touched up and no abrasions of any significance remain. This was done at least 8 years ago and looks new. There are no blend lines visible. The bumpers are not discolored and all the gaps are tight and even, with excellent door shut. There is no evidence of damage or repair. The seats are original, and do not show the usual bolster wear higher mileage cars do. The rear shelf and headliner have been replaced with the correct type fabric and look new. The dash, carpets, carpet inlays, and console are all in excellent condition. The windshield is free of major pock marks, stars, or wiper lines. The front compartment and trunk area are both well kept and in very good condition. The front washer bottle has been replaced and the rear trunk zip cover has been replaced with a leather part of the correct type. The car has several rare options including smaller European marker lights, anodized rear engine vents, 14 inch wheels, deep European spoiler (undamaged), and white font speedometer. The A/C system is complete and operational. It sits on Michelin XWX tires. Many people believe the red with Boxer trim is the very best color combination these cars were offered in. With just 32,000 miles, this car is mechanically tight and responsive. The drivers door shut is tight and crisp. The motor is fitted with all its original smog equipment. Second gear synchro is strong and the suspension, brakes, and transaxle all feel excellent, reflecting the mileage. The current owner bought the car in 1997 and has put approximately 4,500 miles on it during his ownership. A full belt service was done approximately 3 years ago at Camisa Motorcars in Burlingame, CA. A full brake service was also carried out recently. The car is fitted with a Blaupunkt Tuscon radio. The car comes with the jack and jack bag, manuals and holder, and full size spare, fitted Ferrari seat covers and fitted dash cover.
