1992 Talbo (Talbot Lago Teardrop Replica) VIN: TLCA2DONXZTALBO01 Metallic Burgundy with Grey Leather Interior This Talbo is entirely hand built with a glass fiber composite body, on a dedicated custom chassis. The front suspension is made up of upper and lower \"A\" arms with a fiberglass monoleaf spring. Power rack and pinion steering is incorporated. Rear independent suspension consists of upper and lower arms also with a fiberglass spring. The lower \"H\" arms utilize compensating toe links for steer correction. The ride is firm and well controlled as befits a high performance auto. The handling is superb. The engine is a Ford 5.0 Litre V-8, which produces 235 HP, with full emissions and computer functions. The drive train is automatic. The rear-end drive assembly is a traction lock differential. Four wheel power disc brakes and 16\" Dayton wire wheels are also standard. The entire exhaust system is all stainless steel and headers have a lifetime metallic ceramic coating. The inviting interior has custom leather seats and panels, and adequate luggage storage behind the seats. There is full instrumentation, a Sony CD player, AM/FM receiver, 4-way Infinity speakers, air conditioning and heat, power door locks and power seats with adjustable lumbar, Mota Lita wood steering wheel. Head room and leg room are supervising ample. The headliner is wool broadcloth and dash seats and doors are accented with hand carved mahogany wood. The exterior of the Talbo is finished with the worlds finest base coat-clear coast paint, Glasurit, and hand glazed. An extraordinary amount of time and expense have gone into recreating the exterior appointments. The grill, splash guards, door handles etc., are all handcrafted stainless steel polished to a brilliant luster. The interior is completed with extensive hand-carved teak woodwork. This Tablo Series I is the first of the limited production models built by TLC Carrossiers Inc based in West Palm Beach, Florida. Cosmetically this car is virtually spotless, only a few slight paint chips on the drivers side rocker panel. This information was provided by TLC Carrossiers.
