The Ferrari 355 Spider was produced from 1994 through 1999 and replaced the Ferrari 348. There were two versions available, the Berlinetta and the GTS. The Spider was introduced in the following year in 1995 and in 1998; Ferrari introduced the F1 gearshift option, which added about $10,000 to the asking price.

Ferrari built 100 Fiorano editions in 1999 to signify the end of the 355 model and included numerous upgrades including, racing brake kit, cross drilled brake discs, red calipers, suede steering wheel, dedication number plaque, rear challenge grill, carbon fiber interior accents (console/trim around radio and three gauges above), carbon fiber F1 paddles, Scuderia shields, Fiorano handling package consisting of stiffer front and rear springs, lowered ground height of 3 inches, \"dedicated set up for the steering device, providing less assistance at low speeds\", roll bar, stiffer rate coil spring, shocks and an ECU specific to Fiorano setup. It’s also fitted with a rear challenge grille which, in addition to cosmetically distinguishing the car, allows more airflow through the engine. This particular car is the 22nd of 100 Fiorano editions, and is 1 of a handful of triple black (black exterior, interior and carpets) cars produced.

Cosmetically, the car is in great condition. The body is straight with no dents. There has been no significant paintwork done. The panel fit is excellent all the way around the car. There are a few scuffs on the driver’s rear wheel. The other 3 wheels look presentable with no visible damage; however the center caps on the three of the four wheels are showing some age. The car sits on Bridgestone Potenza tires which have significant amount of tread remaining. The glass all around the car is in excellent condition with no rock chips. The lenses around the car are not cracked and the emblems are very nice. The paint has a beautiful shine. The front nose and side mirror have been fitted with the clear protective bra. There are 2 visible rock chips on the hood just below each windshield wiper. There are scratches to the lower spoiler.

The interior is in nice condition with no major blemishes. The driver's seat shows some wear from ingress and egress but is normal for the mileage and age of the car. The dash shows no pulling often the case with the 355’s. The stock stereo system includes in-dash CD player. The carpets, which look to be dealer supplied, are in great condition and show no tears or fading. Drivers and passengers door panels are in remarkable condition.
This car is fitted with the F1 transmission coupled to a 375hp 3.5 litre V8, still one of the highest specific output naturally aspirated motors ever built for street use. In this configuration, zero to 60 takes approximately 4.7 seconds.
The engine bay is correct and original, as is the front compartment. A Tubi exhaust system has been installed and it sounds exquisite.

The very significant 30k mile major service was completed by Brian Crall Company in January 2009 at the cost of $7,827. Work included replacing timing belts and installing upgraded tensioner bearings, replace spark plugs and ancillary belts, water pump seal and coolant hoses at engine, replace fuel vapor hoses on the top of the engine, leaking O-rings at A/C hose connections while engine was out. Strip, bead blast and re-powder coat cam covers and spark plug covers. The mileage at the time of the work was 25,350.

This is a rare example of an attractive model with the major belt serviced having recently been completed. The Fiorano edition gives the car tasteful additions and makes it very appealing to the ideal buyer. With the car comes the owner's manual pack, tool bag (which not only includes tools, it includes an extra belt and light bulbs).
