Miller Motorsports Park Mustang GT Race Car with Just 1600 Miles. A Competitive, Fun, and Cost-Effective Race Car.
2007 Ford Mustang GT Coupe
VIN 1ZFVT82H475319365
White with Blue Stripe and Black Interior
Completely redesigned for the 2005 model year, the Mustang drew heavy aesthetic influences from the styling of the original Mustang of 1964 and was widely regarded as the best looking Mustang in decades, perhaps since the first generation car went out of production in 1973. They were mechanically updated as well, continuing the V6 and V8 variants, the Mustang and Mustang GT. As a widely available car with great performance potential, the Mustang has a long heritage as a successful race car in a variety of venues, making it a natural fit for Miller Motorsports Park’s Ford Racing School. Miller purchased a fleet of Mustang GTs and modified them for track use, with performance upgrades and full safety equipment.
Modifications include:
Uprated springs, shocks and sway bars
Shock tower brace
Headers
Free flow exhaust
Free flow air filter system
Aluminum radiator and expansion tank
Close ratio steering
Short shifter
Brembo brake calipers with Performance Friction pads
Roll cage
Racing seats and belts
Performance tires
4.10 ring and pinion in 8.8 inch rear end
This particular car was part of the Miller fleet for the first 1200 miles of its life before being acquired by its current owner, a collector who drove the car home about 400 miles after buying it directly from Miller in 2007 for about $48,000. The car remains in very nice condition, with no major wear other than some chips to the front of the car, a chip in the windscreen, and a chip on the left front fender, which has been touched up. The car is otherwise cosmetically fresh, with nearly unmarked wheels, and a fresh overall appearance. Both the interior and engine compartment are extremely clean. The interior is fully trimmed and retains full street equipment, including radio and cup holders although the car is not street legal. It has the necessary racing equipment for track use including racing seats, belts, roll cage, and fire extinguisher.
This is an excellent opportunity to acquire an affordable and fun race car with low time and excellent parts availability. The car makes an ideal SCCA or NASA school car, dedicated track day car, or a loaner car, but they have also proven quite competitive. Indeed, one of Fantasy Junction’s customers won an SCCA Regional championship in one of these cars in 2013.
