General History


Launched in 2007, the all-new DB series was a revelation of engineering and design. Spurred on by Ford ownership and massive resources, Aston Martin was able to increase production and invest further into engineering improvements, build quality, and premium finishes. The results were remarkable in both performance and luxury, particularly for the flagship V12 series DBS.

Outfitted with the powerful V12 engine and 6-speed manual transmission, the DBS offered performance and elegance in a superlative GT touring car. In addition to the remarkable V12 performance the DBS was outfitted with rich leather interior, premium sound, and state-of-the-art comfort features.

History of this Aston Martin

This beautifully maintained Aston Martin was delivered to a Pennsylvania dealer who titled the car in 2008 and sold it in 2009 to the first owner, also an east coast resident.

In 2011, the car was offered for sale at Manhattan Motor Cars, New York. The car was treated to regular service as it consecutively accrued miles with the next owner including services in Pennsylvania, inspections, and title updates. In 2020, while enroute to the current owner, this US spec car was traded to a Quebec, Canada dealership where it was briefly exported. returned to the US and subsequently sold to the current owner. When purchased, the digital odometer indicated approximately 19,000 miles. The current owner has maintained this Aston Martin with services and maintenance at San Francisco Motorsports Services. Service records accompanying the car include:

June 2021 – 20,215 miles, new coils, spark plugs, PCV valves, and an oil change.

September 2022 – 22,843 miles, new power steering pump, oil and filter change, leather binnacle shrink repair with new leather.

February 2024 – 24,082 miles, new flywheel, clutch, throw out bearing, and pilot bearing installed, new clutch fluid, new airbag ECU installed and reprogrammed.

Condition and Ownership

Today this Aston Martin presents in excellent condition with beautiful Silver metallic paint that is glossy and smooth throughout. The door jams, inner surfaces, and the front and rear bumpers are in excellent condition. All panels have excellent fit and finish including the front and rear bumper caps. All metal panels have been metered with a digital paint meter returning single digit numbers indicative of factory finishes. The silver 10-spoke wheels are in excellent condition surrounding carbon ceramic cross-drilled disc brakes with Aston Martin four-piston brake calipers. A set of Pirelli PZero 245/35 ZR20 and 295/30 ZR20 are fitted dated late 2019 and 2020. Lenses, glass, and lighting are also in excellent condition throughout. All emblems, script lettering, and exterior details are beautifully finished including the exterior carbon fiber accents on the side view mirrors, front air dam, and rear diffuser. Both the details and overall finishes are reflective of the low miles and consistent owner care.


The supple black leather interior is elegantly finished and shows little signs of wear and no significant marks to the premium leather luxury seating surfaces. Interior accents include black piano finished center console, carbon fiber door trim and leather covered dashboard. The front seats are finished with black leather with Alcantara center inserts and embroidered DBS lettering. Competition inspired details include satin finished carbon fiber door panel accents and lightened alloy foot pedals. The dashboard and classic Aston Martin instrumentation operate properly as do all systems, air conditioning, and premium sound system. Other than the typically seen stretched leather rear parcel shelf cover which has pulled in some areas, the condition of the carpeting, rear storage area, side surfaces, headliner, and other soft interior surfaces are excellent throughout. The trunk compartment is clean and surprisingly spacious with enough room to store a golf bag or soft luggage for two. Behind the front seats, the rear storage area is also suitable for cargo and small luggage storage.

Under the hood, the beautiful V12 engine is clean and unmodified, highlighted by purposeful castings displaying distinct insignias, all nestled in a remarkably clean engine compartment. Powerful and majestic, the V12 is a tribute to the exceptional engineering not only developing the DBS but placing this race-bred engine inside one of the most inspired road cars of the modern era. The underside is in excellent condition displaying factory chassis pans with aerodynamic cooling ducts, alloy suspension, and correct dual exhaust. The chassis shows no visual evidence of structural compromise, factory correct specifications, factory hardware, and 6-speed manual transaxle casing, all of which are clean and undamaged further supported by the current owner documentation and clean Carfax.

The car starts, runs, and drives per original specifications delivering an impressive exhaust note and joyful acceleration. Driving manners are simply breathtaking, offering smooth, progressive power that can be readily enjoyed by a range of skilled drivers.
