1966 Chevrolet Corvette s/n 194676S100644 White with Blue Interior This car was awarded the Bloomington Gold award from the National Corvette Certification Board, in 2004, as well as the `Top Flight Award` from NCRS in 2001, with a score of 1236 out of a possible 1240. Corvette Magazine featured this car it their July 2003 edition. The car was on the cover of the magazine, and the article is included with the documentation, along with the original paperwork, owner`s guide and manuals. Also included are photographs taken during the restoration process. The car was initially delivered by Anthony Abraham Chevrolet in Miami, Florida, in October 1965. When purchased in 1999 by its fourth owner, the car was in the midst of a body off chassis restoration, with most of the cars parts carefully cataloged and packaged away. The car was then meticulously reassembled. Despite the restoration, this car represents the `intangible aura of well-aged, beautifully-cared-for hardware that only an unmolested foundation will allow.` The engine is a small block V8 327/300, considered one of the `smoothest, most reliable, and most durable powerplants of its time`. The car features a two-speed Powerglide transmission, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, AM/FM radio, telescopic steering column, teakwood steering wheel, traffic hazards, auxiliary hardtop plus standard soft top, and tinted glass. In addition, it has retained its original underhood and chassis components, and approximately 95% of its factory installed interior. This beautiful Corvette is in `as-delivered` condition, and is quite rare in that it has not suffered body damage of any kind. We are expecting the car to arrive here at our facility very soon.
