Introduced to replace the former Coupe and GranSport models, the Maserati GranTurismo represented significant advances over the previous cars. Featuring sleek and voluptuous styling by Pininfarina, the car has a prominent grille with a large trident, recalling some of Maseratis most glorious cars of the 1950s. Powered by a 4.2 liter 405hp V8 derived from Ferrari’s excellent V8 powerplant. Mounted well back in the chassis for optimum weight distribution, the engine is paired with an excellent six-speed ZF automatic transmission (with paddle shift mode), replacing the often maligned Duo-Select automated manual gearbox.

This particular example was purchased by the current owner at Lake Forest Ferrari/Maserati and is a two owner car which had its annual service performed at Ferrari/Maserati of Houston in 2012. It is finished in a beautiful shade of Blu Oceano Metallic with Grigio Ghiaccio (ice grey) leather. The exterior is exquisite with excellent original paint and virtually no road rash or other paint blemishes, reflecting its low mileage of under 6000. The interior is virtually as new with no scuff marks or other flaws.
